1929 - 2013

James Alexander Ure passed away peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband and best friend to Susan Ure (Monostori). Dear father of Katharine, Doreen (Bruce) and Jennifer (Doug). Also missed by sister-in-law Teresa (Steve) and brother-in-law George (Deb). Sadly missed by grandchildren Rebecca, Deanna and Alex. Cherished by nieces Krista (Neil) , Jennifer (Paul) as well as nephews; Andy (Deb), Steve (Ruth Ann) and Trevor. Great-nieces: Ellen, Emily, Sonya and Dakota and great-nephews: Kory, A.J., Riley and Dawson
The family will receive friends at Ostrander’s Funeral Home 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. A Memorial Service for James will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. Pastor Johnathin Tinlin officiating. At the family’s request memorial donations may be made to the C.O.P.D. or the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
