The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marvin Underhill can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Carolina and I had the pleasure of meeting Joanne's parents at her Twin Lakes Sarnia home a few years ago. Marvin was working on fixing anything and everything he could in that house and I got to spend an hour or two helping him with these chores. It was very clear that he loved to be busy working on some project and he loved to be useful to his family and his friends. Joanne dearly loved her parents and spoke highly of them always. There is some comfort to think that father and daughter are together now. Peter & Carolina Stock (friends and coworker at Pathways)

Uncle Marv is on a wonderful journey that he has so planned for.He was such a person of God and touched so many hearts to spread the words of the Bible. He will be welcome into the heavens and by his Lord. Uncle Marv definitely did his duty here on earth and will be missed by many! Such a amazing person you's all had a husband , father grandfather . As for myself a wonderful dedicated Uncle and a friend to many. May he continue in our hearts and be remembered as such a wonderful man. Lots of Love .. Sue

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Uncle Marv was such a kind man. So talented at his trade or anything he set out to accomplish. He had such a strong faith in the Lord and I cannot even begin to imagine the number of lives he has touched. Many people have come to know Christ as their Father and Saviour because of him. My most precious memory of Uncle Marv, like many others in my generation, will of course be of the crowds of us all piled into the back of his truck heading off to a "Young Peoples " meeting somewhere. (and the number of us that share this memory are many, I am sure!)Though the number of kids being hauled around in the back of that truck were many, the number of "hand outs" he delivered were even more, whether it be a magnet or a framed picture or a scripture on a sign by the road, He touched many lives with the word of our Lord! I am sure he has a special place in Heaven. You will be dearly remembered and missed by many.

Condolence: Dear Aunt Margaret and family,

We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Marv. He was a wonderful man who won everyone's hearts. I am sure he was the most kind and caring man I have ever known. He loved his family, friends and God. Through you and him we have so many wonderful memories to keep. Thank you so much for helping to make Mom's and us girls lives so much better. Sadly we will not be to the services as we just arrived in Parry Sound for 2 weeks vacation when we heard the sad news. Sending our sympathy to all of you.

Lots of love,
Tom, Carol and Eric
