GLENDA EUDORA JONES
(1923 - 2015)
Peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the age of 92. Glenda was born in Tillsonburg and was the only child of the late Harry Anneker Jones (1943) and Neoma Smith (1963). Glenda trained at, and then graduated from, Woodstock General Hospital as a registered nurse. She immediately went to work, and in fact spent most of her nursing career, at London Psychiatric Hospital. An always appreciative individual with a very sharp intellect, an inquisitive mind and a great sense of humour, Glenda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Glenda was especially grateful for the exceptional care that she received at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital as well as at Trillium Retirement Home in Norwich. In keeping with Glenda’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted through Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, Ontario (519-842-5221). A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. Interment in the Jones family plot, Tillsonburg Cemetery.
