The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jerome Van De Slyke can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Sandra and Larry Hern & Family
Condolence: As your neighbours at Nine Mile Lake, we extend our sincere condolences to all your family on the sad loss of your dear Patriarch, Jerome.

His love for life and the lake, boating, and particularly fishing was very evident as we watched him go by in his little red boat each day.

We shall remember him...and miss his friendly waves when we go north again this year.

Condolence: Bertha, Katherine and Charles, we are so sorry for your loss. We will always have fond memories of Jerome. He was above all so positive in his outlook, so industrious and skilled, and he was always exceptionally warm in his relations with us. So many great encounters with him at Nine Mile Lake.
