The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Brenda Tollenaar can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Our sincerest condolences to the Tollenaar family.
Your mom is now at peace. My parent's acquaintance with your mom and dad go back many years and there are fond memories of their visits together. I enjoyed visiting with her at the Tillsonburg Retirement Centre. She was a lovely lady. Cherish your memories. The Dieleman family from Chatham. Wilma VanGurp.

Condolence From: Margaret Anscombe
Condolence: To the Tollenaar Family ...
Having grown up in Langton 'back in the day', I certainly remember Mrs. Tollenaar and what a really lovely woman she was. I also recall that my late Mom, Marjorie, worked with her both in the NWPS Home and School as well as the Langton Women's Institute. Mom also always spoke very highly of Mrs. Tollenaar and of what a very refined woman she was. (a quality our mothers certainly shared!)

On behalf of the Anscombe family, please know that you have our deepest sympathy. We well know the deep sense of loss that the passing of a precious mother brings...May God bless and strengthen you all in your sorrow.

Condolence: Our deepest condolences at the passing of your mother Brenda. The Ghesquiere's and the Tollenaar's go back a long way and it's sad to see the last of that generation pass on. She was a beautiful person inside and out and we know that she will be missed by your entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
