Obituary for Claude Elliott Lee

Peacefully, after a courageous battle with illness at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 26, 2017, Claude Elliott Lee of Springford passed away at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Beth for 31 years. Proud father of Michael Lee of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandfather of Devin Lee of Straffordville. Claude is also survived by his 3 nieces Melody, Shelly (Rick), Shannon (Tim), great-nephew Richard and mother-in-law Rose Knowles. Dear brother-in-law of Paul Knowles (Nancy), Karen Simms (Ephraim), Dianne Knowles and many nieces and nephews-in-law. Predeceased by his mother Mabel Lowrie, sister Marilyn Popham and brother-in-law Bill Popham. In keeping with Claude’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at the Bookton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
