Condolence: Wow..I am reading this and it feels a bit surreal. Is it really our time when our friends of childhood are dying. I have so many great fun memories of Dan. He had the best sense of humour, he lived in the big farm and house yet he stayed grounded. I hadn't seen him in a while. I remember running into him at the snackbar a few years back and it's like the years between had not gone by. Healing hugs to the family. I hope to attend his Celebration of Life. The laughs shared will be many.

Condolence: Dear Dave,Jenny, Deb and Tim Words cannot express the shock I am feeling. I was so happy to catch with Dan last Christmas at the Smith Christmas party. It had been years but we teased each other as we had when we were kids and he was the annoying little brother. Our families go back many many years as neighbours and friends and you never think that will change. Much too young. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. Joan & Calvin Sutherland

Condolence: For me, I will always fondly remember a young Dan, brash, funny, full of life. He was a pleasure to hang out with, whether socially or working on his family farm. (We both tried very hard to freeze and bring back to life many a tobacco worm during our irrigating days...no success, but good times all the same. ) I honestly don't know what to say really, as I am the same age and it seems just too short a time to pass on. But to my end of days, when I hear the song " Macho Man" by YMCA...I will always remember with great amazement and respect, Dan's version..."Macho Macho Dan..everyone wants to be a Macho Dan.." Sincere condolences to the Ramer family. We were lucky to know your son and brother.

Condolence: We want to send our deepest condolences to Dan's family. we were so very sad to hear of Dan's passing. Dan was one of our MOF inspectors and he was the best. In our opinion he made a dreaded process bearable. He really took the time to get to know his clients. When the business was done, he always took a moment to inquire about a sick relative and even took time out of his busy schedule to pay his respects should a loved one pass away. Gestures that were unexpected and greatly appreciated. He was truly a special person and will be missed. God bless you Dan and your family. Melissa, Marlene, Mike and Rob

Condolence: Daniel. Shocked and saddened to hear of your passing. When you started working at MTO, we connected immediately and became buddies - good and bad habits alike. You were always hilarious, always with a good (or ridiculous) story to tell, fun to prank, and often as stubborn as a mule. You're missed already.
