With sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Ken Roesch at his home in Port Burwell on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Pat for 64 years. Proud father of Joe Roesch of Port Burwell and Tammy West (Gary) of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and father-in-law of Karen Roesch of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Jamie, Christa, Harmonie (Guy) and great-grandsons Jake and Jessie. Dear brother of Betty Matthews of Port Burwell, Hazel Davey of Orillia and brother-in-law of Viola Roesch of Tillsonburg. Ken is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sons Timothy and James Roesch, grandson Cody Roesch-West and brother Murray Roesch. In keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Kendall Reimer-Johnston officiating. Inurnment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the Roesch family.
