ALICE THERESA BENNETT (1940 – 2018)
Peacefully, at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday, January 29, 2018, Alice Theresa (Beaudoin) Bennett of Straffordville passed away after a courageous battle with illness at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Fred for over 54 wonderful years. Alice will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Predeceased by her parents Emile and Josephine Beaudoin, 3 brothers Gabriel, Albert and Lucien Beaudoin and her sister Huguett Dwight. Alice was the Post Master in Straffordville for 27 years. She enjoyed camping, travelling, playing the piano and loved her time spent in her pool. In keeping with Alice’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private family arrangements. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Children’s Hospital in London may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
