Richard Nelson (Tex) Collison (1954 – 2018)
With great sorrow we announce the passing of Richard Nelson (TEX) Collison Sr. at Victoria Hospital London on Friday February 2, 2018 at the age of 63 years. Loving husband and best friend of Jesse Sparrow Moon Butler (Charlene). Dear father of Richard Collison Jr. and Jeremy (Robin) Collison and Dodie Butler . Much loved grandfather of Savannah, Dalton, Jadin, Marisa, Kiara, Cade and Phoenix. Also survived by his sister Ila and bother-in-law Frank Brencur. Sisters-in-law Diane Fahie, JoAnne Routeliffe, Brenda Fehrs and bothers-in-law Ronald McConkey, Jack LaForce and Victor Comeau, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother and father Fannie and Robert Collison and his brother Bob and nephew David Brencur. A sincere thank you to the medical staff at Victoria Hospital and the PSW St. Elizabeth nurses for their wonderful care and to Dr. Kathy Faulds and her assistant PJ for being diligent for providing excellent medical care. In keeping with Richard’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice or Cirrhosis Foundation may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
