HELGA ELISABETHA PETRAITIS (1928 – 2018)
Peacefully, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 26, 2018, Helga Elisabetha (Dallner) Petraitis, of Courtland passed away at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the Late Petras “Peter” Petraitis (2013). Proud and loving mother of Maria McLeod and Peter and Bev Petraitis. Cherished grandmother of James McLeod, Michael McLeod, Jason McLeod, Kimberly Marwick, Cindy Young, David Murray, Jamie Petraitis, Amanda Petraitis, Peter Petraitis Jr. as well as 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter Lily. Dear sister of Maria Kirschner, Anna Perl, Karl, George and Gunther Dallner. Helga is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Maria Dallner of Germany. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the Petraitis family.
