It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Irene Wilson on April 9, 2018 at the age of 96. Survived by her children, Ben Wilson (Eunice) and Sandra Bray. Cherished Grandmother to Jackie (Ed) Legge, James (Katrina) Bray and Serena (Steve) White. Great Grandmother to Aaron Corbiere (Brit), Tyler Corbiere (Danielle), Curtis Corbiere (Megan), Dakota Legge, Logan Bray, Jessica Bray, Matthew Bray, Noel White, Claire White and Payton White. Great, Great Grandmother to Hailey, Peyton, Julia and Eric. Special Nana to Scott Miller. Special friend to Constance Harries. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband Mack Wilson, as well as her Father Frank Wingrove and Mother Samantha, Granddaughter Vicky Lynn, and siblings Clifford Wingrove, Pat Wingrove, Jean Lipsit, Marie Trickett, Harry Wingrove and Evelyn Ferris. Dorothy was a lifelong member of Cultus United Church, U.C.W of Cultus United Church and Rebekah Lodge. Dorothy also enjoyed to knit, crochet and read in her spare time. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service for Dorothy will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ted Smith officiating. Interment to follow at the Cultus Cemetery. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Cultus United Church, Cultus Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
