Peacefully, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, Lois Irene Scott (Claringbold) was called home to be with her Lord at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Roger Scott. Cherished mother of Robert Adamson of Aylmer, Debra (Dave) Metselaar and Randy Adamson of Tillsonburg. Much loved nana to Adam (Ashley), Andy (Jenna) and Alexa (Derek). Much loved grandma to Vanessa (Jay), Shylo (Samantha), Levi, Hailey (Josh) and Emily (Matt). Great grandma to Jeremy and Toryn. Survived by her brother Robert Claringbold (Myra) and Paul Luciani (Denise) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Harold (1987) and Aletha (1993) and her sister Jean Luciani. Lois worked for many years in the banking industry. She will be fondly remembered as the “sticker and stamp lady” to many youngsters. Lois enjoyed travelling and cooking over the campfire at the trailer. Lois was an avid arm chair fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and was a great statistician for many years. Friends and family will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, May 04, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Rowbottom officiating. Interment at Tillsonburg Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations in Lois’ memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
