Mrs. Simone Monica Dettlaff (nee Vandoorne) of Delhi, Ontario passed away at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Courtland on Friday, July 13th, 2018 in her 92nd year. Born in Oostnieuwerke, West Flanders, Belgium, July 31st, 1926.
Simone is predeceased by husband Hubert Dettlaff. Loving Mother of Michael Kormos, Elaine Goobie (nee Kormos), Peter Kormos (deceased), Nadine Hawkins (nee Kormos) and Mark Kormos. Cherished Grandmother of Sharan Goobie, Stephen Goobie, Grace Hawkins and Henry Kormos. Delighted Great Grandmother to Toma Goobie and Sienna Goobie. Dearest sister to Andy Vandoorne and Suzie Vanexe (deceased). Cremation has taken place. At the request of Simone, friends and relatives are invited to Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, ON, N4G 3T6, (519) 842-5221 for a Memorial service, to be held on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
Charitable donations can be made to a charity of choice by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited who has been entrusted with the arrangements.
