Obituary for Sharron Eileen Jakes (Stewart)

Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, July 26, 2018, Sharron Eileen (Stewart) Jakes of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Jim for 52 wonderful years. Loving mother of Karen Locke and her husband Brian of Blenheim and Bruce Jakes of Oakville. Proud grandma of William and Andrew Locke and Sydney and Taylor Jakes. Dear sister of Maureen Stoeken and her husband Bill of Milton. Sharron is also survived by her two nephews Chris Stoeken and Mark Stoeken and his wife Joss both of Milton. Sharron was an avid quilter and a proud member of St. John’s Anglican Church in Tillsonburg but what she loved most was spending time with her family. In keeping with Sharron’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Sharron will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Tillsonburg on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Osita Oluigbo officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to St. John’s Anglican Church may be made at the church or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
