REDVERS “RED” CONOD (1926 – 2018)

Peacefully, in his sleep in Kingston, Ontario on Sunday, July 29, 2018, Redvers “Red” Conod of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 54 years to the Late Elizabeth Anne “Betty” Conod (2003). Proud and loving father of James Michael Conod (Shirley) and Donna Lee Conod both of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandpa of Shawn Michael (Jody), Joshua Roy, Azhra Dee, Dillon James Conod, Jennifer Pearce and great-grandpa of Blake, Blair and Daryl Conod. Predeceased by his two sisters Ruth Marchant and Joan Conod. Red was a partner of Whisper Hill Kennel of Tillsonburg. He was also a well known mechanic in the area but his true passion was repairing Allis Chalmers tractors. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service for Red will be held at the Tillsonburg Bible Chapel, 63 Queen Street, Tillsonburg on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Jim Noseworthy officiating. Interment to follow at Dobbie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Tillsonburg Bible Chapel or Danes in Distress would be appreciated by the Conod family.
