Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, July 30, 2018, Maria Wolf of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife and best friend of George for 69 wonderful years. Proud and loving mother of her sons Helmut Wolf (Helen) of Courtland, Bill Wolf (Liz) of Ingersoll and daughters Mary Geisel (Ron) of New Dundee, Annie Dierick (Jeff) of Scotland and Georgina Vincent (Andy) of Langton. Cherished grandmother of Ben, Jennifer, Bret, Ryan, Lindsay, Kandice, Shayne and great-grandchildren Caycuse, Parker and Pierce. Dear sister–in-law of Maria Bolteraurer of Austria, Ray Stoyles of Straffordville and Sophie Wolf of Tillsonburg. Maria is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Austria. Predeceased by her parents Karl (1973) and Sabina (1928) Bolteraurer, sister Erika Lattener (1997), brother Karl Bolteraurer (2017) and step-sister Finni Sperer (2015). Maria was a proud member of Peace Lutheran Church in Tillsonburg for many years. She also belonged to the German Home Ladies Society in Delhi. Maria was a kind-hearted loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who inspired many in this world. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers will commence at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Maria will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 60 Young Street, Tillsonburg on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Schallhorn officiating. Interment to follow at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to Peace Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the Wolf family.
