AUDREY FAY (HARVEY) LEAMAN
1922- 2018
After a long and eventful life, and enduring the indignities of advanced age with grace and fortitude, our beloved Audrey “moved upstairs” on August 4, 2018 in her 96th year; the last of her generation in our family tree. Born on the home farm at Ostrander on October 12, 1922, the youngest daughter of Corey “Code” and Dexcie Harvey (nee Fick). Audrey leaves her son Bruce, his wife Deborah and 2 grandsons Andrew and Edward. Predeceased by her husband Wilbert in 1987 and their eldest son Lorne in 2009. Also predeceased by sister Vera (Cleo) Hammond, brothers Bruce, Grant, Karl, Montie, Frank, Russel, and Wilbert. At Audrey’s insistence, cremation has taken place and her ashes returned to the earth in the Leaman family plot, Dorchester Union Cemetery. Remembering Audrey’s generous and compassionate nature, consider a donation to the Helping Hand Food Bank, Annandale Museum or the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) entrusted with the arrangements.
