The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Doris Ley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I delivered to Doris for the past three years. We had many wonderful visits during this time. She told me her life story and amazed me. Such a strong, determined and intelligent soul. She did much to improve this world for many and was certainly a woman very much ahead of her time. I told a friend her story. She was helping find women who had made a significant contribution to the world especially and particularly for women. Doris was recognized and celebrated in two communities for her incredible accomplishments. She was a cherished friend.
