It is with heartfelt Sorrow that the family announces the passing of George Sym at the age of 63 years, on Monday November 19, 2018 at Sakura House, Woodstock. Beloved husband of the Late Linda (Gibbons) Sym 1990 and Linda (Kramer) Sym (2011). Dear father of Joey Sym (Kacey Wood), Carley Harder (Abe), Wendy La Tulippe (Mike) and Lesley Sym. Loving grandpa to Eric (Kiona), Wolf, Delyla, Amy, Aidan and Leela. Also survived by his brothers Ted (Janet), Nick (Janice), and his sister Theresa (Rick) 2017 and sisters in law Nancy (Mike) 2012 and Mary Lou Cole (Larry) 2016. George worked at the Ford Motor Plant in Talbotville all of his working life. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for George will follow at 2:00 p.m. Private family inurnment at the Tillsonburg Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Georges Memory to V.O.N. Sakura House would be appreciated by the Sym family and can be arranged through Ostrander’s Funeral Home.
