RUTH BEVERLY (BROWN) ROUSE
1928-2018
Peacefully, at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, Ruth Beverly (Brown) Rouse, formerly of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the Late Edward “Ed” Rouse (1995). Proud and loving mother of Lana Chivers of London, Jeff Rouse (Anna) of Sudbury, Kevan Rouse (Phyllis) of Port Burwell, Darwin Rouse (Janet) of Port Rowan and Annette Heard (Greg) of Delhi. Cherished grandmother of Laura Chivers- Roberts (Ken), Lisa Panasiuk (Ed), Ashley Rouse, Jocelyne Hyland, Amanda Wiltshire (Bryan), Marc Rouse (Alicia), Erin Rouse, Zach Heard and great-grandmother of Darek Roberts, Alexander Panasiuk and Nathan Roberts. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Viola (Foster) Brown, infant son Mark Rouse, son-in-law Fred Chivers, her sister Thelma Morgan and brother Howard Brown. Ruth was a Registered Nursing Assistant at Norfolk General Hospital for many years. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church in Tillsonburg. Ruth also belonged to the Myrtle Rebekah Lodge, Tillsonburg, the Silver Lake Lodge, Port Dover and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 153 Tillsonburg. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Ruth will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pat Cook officiating. Interment to follow at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to Norview Lodge, Simcoe or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the Rouse family.
