It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family announces the passing of Robert L. “Borden” Underhill (born September 13, 1911) of Vienna in his 94th year at the London Health Science Centre on Wednesday June 7, 2006 with his niece at his side. Son of the late Robert “Jesse” Underhill and Lorinda “Grace” Tomlin. Survived by one sister Alda Pickell of Vienna, and several nieces and nephews. Also, predeceased by his brothers Percy (1933); George (1943); Donavan (1967); Earl (1971); Norman (1966); sister Eva Frederick (1987); a niece Buelah Pearl (1921); and nephew Rick Underhill (1993). Borden is also survived by a good friend, and caregiver Robert Graham of Vienna. The family will receive friends and family at Ostrander’s Funeral Home 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg (842-5221) on Tuesday June 13, 2006 from 1p.m. to 3 p.m. Funeral service for Borden will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Interment Hemlock Cemetery (formerly Houghton Cemetery. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to North Broadway Baptist Church.
