Bruce Edward Hodgson (1936 – 2016)
Peacefully, at the age of 80, Bruce Edward Hodgson passed at his residence in Delhi on Sunday, November 27, 2016. Loving father of Fred Hodgson (Lisa) and Marty Hodgson (Deb). Caring papa of Alyson, Hunter, Jayson, Kayla, Kassie, April, Trish, Joseph, Emma, Cash, Jack & Keira. Brother of Ralph Hodgson (Carol) and Shirley Hodgson. Predeceased by mother and father Florence & Archie Hodgson, his spouse Joyce Hodgson and his brother Lloyd Hodgson. Also survived by good friend and companion Ruby Burnett. Bruce will be missed by his loving dog Bella and everyone else he has touched in his life. Bruce was very well known for his guitar playing and will be missed by his fans. Bruce was a long time employee at Cadman Manufacturing and when he wasn’t working he loved to travel. He recently enjoyed a trip to the Dominican Republic. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Bruce will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow in Courtland United Cemetery. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be made at www.ostrandersfuneralhome.com
