McDonald "Don"  Millman
McDonald Frederick Millman passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 21, 2018 with his wife Margaret (Moir) at his side, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Don is survived by their son David, his brother Michael, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Mark (Linda Lovegrove). Born in Woodstock, he was a long-time resident of Tillsonburg where he will be fondly remembered for his extensive volunteer work with many groups including Tillsonburg Hospital, St. John’s Anglican Church, and the Shriners. He was a man of strong faith whose service and good humour touched many lives. He was a good man in every sense of the word, and he will be missed by all that knew him. Cremation has taken place. The fact that Don was a proud and dedicated member of the Tillsonburg Shrine Club and the King Hiram Lodge #78, AF&AM, Tillsonburg. A Masonic Service will be held under the auspice of King Hiram Lodge #78, AF&AM at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. John’s Anglican Church, Tillsonburg. Following the Masonic service friends and relatives will be received at St. John’s Anglican Church, 46 Ridout St. W., Tillsonburg, ON, on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The memorial service for Marg and Don will be held at 11:30 a.m. following their visitation. Inurnment for Marg and Don will be held in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don and Marg’s memory to VON-Sakura House, Woodstock, Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, St. John’s Anglican Church, Tillsonburg, The Shriners Hospital.
