Obituary for Pam Anne Good (Wheeler)

Pam Anne Good (Wheeler)
On February 16th the world lost one of the happiest people we know. Pam was a wonderful wife, mother and friend, who will always be remembered for her zest for life, quick smile and contagious laugh.

She is lovingly survived by her husband and best friend of forty seven years Steve, her daughters Jenny (Dave Chromczak), Corry (Eric Britton), mother Edith Wheeler (predeceased by her father John), brother Jeff Wheeler and his wife Cindy, brother-in-law Paul Good and his wife Joan and sister-in-law Mary Beth Smith and her husband Brad and nieces and nephews.

Pam spent her early years on a farm on the lake near Selkirk before moving to Simcoe in elementary school. After graduating from Simcoe Composite School Pam obtained her honours psychology degree from the University of Western Ontario and a teaching degree from the University of Toronto. Pam and Steve finally settled in Tillsonburg where they remained for the last thirty eight years.

Pam loved to travel, read, play bridge, golf, walk in the woods and watch the dogs run or just relax by the pool on a Sunday afternoon. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Pam loved her community and was a past president of the ladies section of the Tillsonburg Golf Club, past director of the Curling Club and past member of the Tillsonburg Museum Board.

Although we wish we had more time with Pam, we will cherish all of the amazing memories we have with her.

Visitations will be held at Ostrander Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg, ON (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, February 21st 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, followed by a celebration of Pam’s life for family and friends at the Bridges at Tillsonburg Golf Club on Saturday February 24th starting at 7pm. Unfortunately, we could not honour her request for a Viking funeral.

Donations in memory of Pam can be made to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
